1. General Provisions
1.1. This User Agreement (hereinafter referred to as the “Agreement”) defines the procedure for providing services for the exchange of electronic and digital assets on the 1change.me platform, as well as the conditions of interaction between the Service and Users.
1.2. The Parties to the Agreement are:
Service — online platform 1change.me;
User — an individual who uses the functionality of the website and agrees to the terms of the Agreement.
1.3. The use of the 1change.me website constitutes the User’s unconditional acceptance of the terms of this document. In case of disagreement with the Agreement, the use of the Service is prohibited.
1.4. The document is publicly available on the website and may be amended unilaterally by the administration of 1change.me without prior notice.
2. Key Terms
• 1change.me Service — an online system for exchanging digital assets, cryptocurrencies, and electronic money.
• Service Website — the internet resource 1change.me.
• User — an individual who uses the Service and accepts the terms of the Agreement.
• Payment System — third-party software for transferring funds, recording obligations, and conducting settlements on the Internet.
• Electronic Asset — a digital obligation between the currency developer and its owner.
• Transaction (Payment) — transfer of electronic assets from sender to recipient.
• Application (Order) — an electronic form filled in by the User on the website, expressing the intention to use the exchange services.
• Source Currency — the asset transferred by the User for exchange.
• Source Account — the wallet or payment details from which the source currency is sent.
• Resulting Currency — the asset received by the User after the exchange.
• Resulting Account — the wallet or payment details where the resulting currency is credited.
• Currency Reserve — the volume of assets available in the Service at the time of placing the order.
• Exchange Rate — the ratio of asset values in the exchange.
3. Subject of the Agreement
3.1. The 1change.me Service provides the User with services for the exchange of cryptocurrencies and electronic money in accordance with this document.
4. Services and Procedure
4.1. To receive a service, the User submits an order on the 1change.me website.
4.2. Orders and their status are managed via the website interface.
4.3. The Service executes orders in accordance with the rules of the relevant payment systems.
4.4. 1change.me is not a party to contractual relations between the User and the payment system.
4.5. The Service is not obliged to verify whether the sender and recipient are the same person.
4.6. By submitting an order, the User confirms the legality of the funds’ origin and the right to use them.
4.7. The User is solely responsible for calculating and paying taxes in their jurisdiction.
5. Service Fees
5.1. Exchange rates and fees are published on the website and may be changed unilaterally by the administration.
5.2. When creating an order, the User sees the exchange rate, payment system fee, and final amount.
6. Account Rules
6.1. During registration, the User must provide accurate data.
6.2. The Service may request additional verification documents (passport, photo, video confirmation, proof of source of funds, etc.).
6.3. The administration may restrict or block the account if a violation is suspected.
6.4. The User is responsible for keeping account data secure.
6.5. Use of the Service for illegal activities (money laundering, terrorist financing, gambling, etc.) is prohibited.
7. Asset Exchange
7.1. The User authorizes the Service to exchange the source currency for the selected asset.
7.2. Orders must be paid strictly through the payment form on the website.
7.3. The Service’s obligations are fulfilled once funds are debited from the Service’s account in the payment system.
7.4. If funds are not received within 30–90 minutes, the order may be canceled.
7.5. The exchange rate is fixed at the moment the deposit is received by the partner exchange.
7.6. Credit to Visa/MasterCard may take from a few seconds up to 5 business days.
7.7. If the User’s wallet address fails AML verification, the Service may request additional verification.
7.8. In case of suspicious transactions, the Service may suspend the operation and withhold funds.
7.9. If assets are mistakenly sent to another network, a refund is possible with commission and a fixed fee deducted.
7.10. Transactions via smart contracts are not supported.
8. Entry into Force
8.1. The Agreement constitutes a public offer.
8.2. Acceptance is considered to be the creation and confirmation of an order.
8.3. The date and conditions of acceptance are automatically recorded by the system.
9. Liability
9.1. The Service is liable to the User within the amount transferred for exchange.
9.2. The Service is not responsible for failures and errors of third-party payment systems and banks.
9.3. The User bears full responsibility for the accuracy of provided data.
9.4. All risks associated with rate changes, fees, and delays lie with the User.
9.5. In case of force majeure, both parties are released from liability.
10. Refunds
10.1. Refunds are possible only if the exchange did not take place and funds were not credited to the User.
10.2. Refunds are made minus network fees and possible rate differences.
10.3. The refund procedure is initiated only after the User contacts support.
11. Final Provisions
11.1. 1change.me may amend the Agreement by publishing a new version on the website.
11.2. The Service has the right to reject an order without explanation.
11.3. If suspicious actions are detected, the operation may be suspended.
11.4. The Service has the right to send notifications to the User’s email about order status.
11.5. Access to the website may be temporarily limited during technical maintenance.
